Camping Villamar, nestled in the lively city of Benidorm, has become my family's favourite vacation spot, and it's all thanks to our cosy caravan. More than just a place to sleep, our caravan has been the setting for countless memories, laughter, and delightful BBQ evenings. Here's a personal review of our unforgettable experiences.
Stepping into our Caravilla at Camping Villamar, I always feel a wave of pride and joy. This is not just a holiday accommodation; it's a cherished family retreat that has hosted memorable gatherings with friends and family. From the welcoming living room that has seen countless movie nights on the 65-inch 4K UHD TV to the fully-equipped kitchen where we've prepared countless festive meals, it truly feels like a home away from home.
The four bedrooms, including the Romeo and Juliet Bedrooms with a shared ensuite, and the fun Kids Room, have comfortably accommodated up to twelve of us, each space reflecting warmth and comfort. I can't help but smile when I think of the nights spent on the garden's lush artificial grass, laughing around the BBQ. Even the practicalities are handled with care in our caravan, from the provision of essential cooking ingredients to clear instructions on electricity usage and WiFi access.
Of course, not everything is perfect – the in-caravan showers can be temperamental, but that's a minor quirk more than overshadowed by the incredible nearby shower block. It's these unique touches, the blend of luxury and cosiness, that make our Caravilla at Villamar a special place for us. Every time friends or family visit, they're enveloped in the same sense of comfort and warmth that makes this place uniquely ours. Whether it's their first stay or the 100th, it's a place to call home.

My e-Scooters: Exploring with a Twist of Fun from Camping Villamar
I've always believed that the journey is as significant as the destination. That's why I've added two e-scooters to our caravan's amenities. These e-scooters have become my favorite way to explore the area. Whether it's a quick trip to the local market or a leisurely ride along the beachfront, these scooters add a fun and adventurous twist to the day.
When my friends and family visit, we often take the scooters out together, laughing and enjoying the freedom they offer. But, I always remind everyone of some essential guidelines to keep our rides safe and enjoyable:
Keep an eye on the scooters as they are untraceable and can be easy to pinch.
Wear a helmet on public roads. Safety first!
Travel on cycle paths when possible. It's the best way to stay clear of traffic.
Stay off pavements unless walking with them. It's polite and avoids startling pedestrians.
Keep speeds down to 10kph on pedestrianized roads like the beachfront. It's the perfect pace to enjoy the view.
Observe usual road traffic signs and laws. It's essential to keep everything legal and safe.
Feel free to pop down one-way systems the wrong way and go around roadblock signs, but be cautious and make sure there are no police about. If in doubt, do nowt!

The BBQ Experience
We found the BBQ setup to be one of the highlights of our stays. Firing up the gas and grilling our favorite delicacies became a cherished family tradition. The utensils, conveniently stored in the kitchen drawers, were handy, and the overall experience was made effortless.
Our caravan at Villamar is perfectly positioned to offer a blend of comfort and convenience. With beautiful aesthetics, it features a hatch that's ideal for serving food during our BBQ gatherings. During the hotter months, we'd close the hatch to keep the mosquitoes out!
In the picture, you'll notice my Uncle Paul in his red cap, standing near the door that leads to a toilet washroom, cleverly connected to the kitchen area. It's these thoughtful designs that made our stay incredibly comfortable and homely.
The 5-Star Pool and Clubhouse at Camping Villamar
We were particularly impressed by the 5-star pool and clubhouse at the center of Camping Villamar. The recently completed 3.5-million-euro renovation has transformed it into an incredible place to unwind. The music, entertainment, drinks, and views of the mountains and Benidorm made each visit a joy.
We enjoyed happy hours, the quality of food, and the friendliness of the staff. The inexpensive and cheerful nature of the clubhouse added to our daily enjoyment.
Site Rules & Safety
While the site rules were quite comprehensive, they contributed to maintaining the safety and happiness of all guests. We appreciated the focus on details like wearing wristbands, pool rules, and regulations on vehicles. These rules created an environment where we could relax without worry.
Exploring Around
Camping Villamar's location allowed us to explore Benidorm with ease. We enjoyed taking taxis and walking into the city. On one occasion, we even tried the e-scooters, which turned out to be a fun way to tour the surrounding areas.
